Occasional Child Care Service

Objective

To avoid children being left unattended at home when the parents need to meet their work-related and non-work related commitment.

Form of Service

Providing occasional child care assistance on full-day, half-day or two-hour sessional basis

Programme

Various activities are arranged, including physical play, arts & crafts, story time and daily care such as meals and naps

Service Hours

Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

Target Group

Children aged two to six who are physically and intellectually sound

Fees

Full-day session: $64; Half-day session: $32; Two-hour session: $16 (basic fee level is a two-hour session)

*with an extra $6.5 charged for meals

Application

Parents have to register in person from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, or call for reservation and complete the formalities before receiving the service; with places still available, immediate application would be accepted on-site

• Bring along the original and a photocopy of the child’s Birth Certificate

• A copy of Identity Card of either parent is needed as well; guardians should have Parental Authorization Letter with them

• Application shall be made not more than one month in advance
