Typhoons / Tropical Cyclone | No. 1 & No. 3 Typhoon Signal | Centre operates as usual |
No. 8 Typhoon Signal or above | Centre will be closed | |
When No. 8 Typhoon Signal is cancelled before 7:00 am | Centre operates as usual | |
When No. 8 Typhoon Signal is cancelled from 7:00 am onward and before 1:00 pm | Centre will be opened two hours thereafter | |
When No. 8 Typhoon Signal is cancelled at or after 1:00 pm | Centre will be closed | |
When No. 8 Typhoon Signal is issued during service hours | Parents should arrange their children to be picked up as soon as possible |
Heavy Persistent Rain | Red Rainstorm Warming | Centre operates as usual |
| Black Rainstorm Warming | Centre will be closed |
| Black Rainstorm Warning is cancelled before 7:00 pm | Centre operates as usual |
| Black Rainstorm Warning is cancelled from 7:00 am onward and before 1:00 pm | Centre will be opened two hours thereafter |
| Black Rainstorm Warning is cancelled at or after 1:00 pm | Centre will be closed |
| Black Rainstorm Warning is issued during service hours | Centre remains in service |
